We could be seeing a Harry Styles and Kodaline collaboration in the pipeline.
We already know that Harry has been doing some songwriting with Irish rock band Kodaline, on tracks for One Direction’s new album.
They’re just one of many different artists that One Direction have been working with on their next album – from The 1975 to John Legend.
The band’s frontman, Steve Garrigan, told The Mirror:
“We would release a song with Harry. We ended up writing a song and having fun. Whatever’s released is released.”
However, we’re not yet sure if there is a Kodaline & Harry track on the way, or whether they’ve simply just penned something for One Direction.
Talking of working with Harry, Garrigan continued:
“We did write a really cool love song. His voice is really strong. I didn’t know what to expect, he just started singing. I was like, ‘Wow, he’s got a great voice’.”
Two days ago, the American model Paige Reifler confirmed the rumours that she and Harry Styles were officially a thing.
Paige now seems to be denying that she ever claimed to be seeing Harry, taking to Twitter with a cryptic tweet which hints that she could have been misquoted when she chatted about their relationship to the papers.
The Mirror reported that she’d told them: “I went to the Warner party at Shoreditch House with a friend and saw him there. The next morning I woke up and I was in all of the newspapers and magazines. I wasn’t expecting that, it’s not like that in New York.”
She was quoted to have confirmed: ”Yes, I am seeing him.”
Later that day Paige took to Twitter and tweeted a friend to say: “didn’t we learn in school quotation marks mean the person said that verbatim? Guess Ms. Sclan taught us wrong. Pftttttt [sic]”.
‘Verbatim’ means for something to be in exactly the same words as they were originally used, so it looks like Paige is claiming to have been misquoted by the paper.
She’s not exactly helping to put an end to all the pesky rumours by posting photos in Harry’s clothes…
One Direction posted a behind-the-scenes teaser trailer for their new fragrance ‘You & I,’ which will be available for pre-order on August 6! Watch the adorable video of the guys below! The guys posted the video on all their social channels on July 20 with the hashtag: “#YouAndIBackstage.”
The top-to-bottom leisurewear says “Naughty” on the front, “Boy” on the back. It’s one-of-a-kind, a bespoke gift from a sportswear company “showing a lot of love”. There’s another, equally rare version, too, this one branded “Zaughty Boy”. It’s a nod to a hook-up Khan has in the pipeline.
“I’ve been working with Zayn Malik,” he says of the One Direction-er, a fellow British-Asian Muslim. “I’m really impressed by him and his writing ability.” Khan, Malik, Sandé and Romans have written a song, “One Chance to Dance”, that he says One Direction are recording. “I spoke to Simon about it recently and it looks like it might be a single.” Simon as in Cowell?
“Yes, we text each other. Why not?” he twinkles. “And I think Zayn will probably sing a lot of it ’cause he sounds great on it. I haven’t recorded the other boys yet, but I’m looking forward to it. I think it’s gonna change the perception of them slightly. It’s still One Direction but you can see there’s a bit more… oh hi!”

It’s 2014, and while The Wanted are on hiatus, the boys are still very much a thing. Why? ‘Cause it’s ‘almost impossible’ to compete with them, according to The Wanted’s Tom Parker!
Having a chinny chin chinwag with that funny lot over at Digital Spy, Tom explained: “For The Wanted to try and compete against one of the biggest bands in the world – One Direction – it’s almost impossible. I don’t think any band out there can compete with them at the moment.”
In recent interview for MTV, the boys answered fan questions and talked about One Direction! Aussie pop rockers also reveal that they have no plans to work with One Direction on a track…
5 Seconds Of Summer suffered a “traumatising” experience on their last tour, when Harry Styles pulled the ultimate prank on the guys, which involved throwing fruit and being naked.
“No, naked Harry Styles, which is a bit disappointing,” Ashton said during Live From MTV. “It’s a decrease of nudity on the tour this year.”
“I think it’s been different in a few ways, we got to go to Europe for the first time and without them (One Direction), we would have never gotten to meet some of the fans, so that was incredible,” Ashton said of the Where We Are Tour.
“There’s a few more people singing along to our songs, which is nice. That’s just a beautiful thing.”
When asked if the guys would ever team up with the One Direction lads, the 5SOSfam in the MTV audience were quick to boo the suggestion.
“We are two completely different bands,” Calum said before Luke added: “We might write with them at some point. If we were going to do a song it’d be with someone that’s cool and up-and-coming.”
